Will Ella Blackburn Anderson

Will Ella Anderson, 89, died September 24, 2013 under the care of Hospice Savannah, Inc. surrounded by her husband, daughter and son. She was born November 2, 1923 in Screven County, Georgia, daughter of James Felton and Lillian Boddiford Blackburn. Mrs. Anderson was a dental assistant and homemaker. She was a member of Ardsley Park Baptist Church, Alee Temple Ladies Auxiliary and Savannah Women's Club.
Surviving are her husband of 71 years, Alex Earl Anderson, Sr., daughter, Kim Hanning Chuck Hanning, son, Alex Earl Anderson, Jr. Donna Oliver; brother, James B. Blackburn, Sr. Mercer; sister, Christine Holmes; five grandchildren, David Morrison Becky, Lori Mallard Brandon, Stacey Fraelle Andy, Stephanie Burch Matt and Marah Redden; eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
The service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 28, 2013 at Ardsley Park Baptist Church, conducted by Reverend Buddy Clay.
Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be David Morrison, Matt Burch, Andy Fraelle, Brandon Mallard and Frank Scroggin.
